Project management
We don't run your project for you. We make sure the people who do are set up to succeed, and we tell you honestly how they're going.
Good project management is the difference between a project that drifts and one that delivers. Whether you're building a team from scratch or checking on the one you've got, we help you get it right.
Two project managers?
Your CRM partner's project manager is responsible for delivering their work: on time, on budget, and to their contract. That's important, and it's worth paying for.
But your business has work to deliver too. Data needs cleaning, people need to make decisions, subject matter experts need to turn up to workshops, and testing needs to happen. Someone on your side has to manage all of that, and it's often a role your business has never had to fill before.
What we do
- Spin up your project team. Work out how much project management your side of the project really needs, from a full-time project manager to a few hours a week from someone already in your business.
- Set them up for success. Agree the plan, the reporting, and how risks and changes get handled, so your team and your partner's team are working from the same playbook.
- Hire the right people. If you need to bring someone in, we'll help you define the role and find the right person, or run the hiring for you.
- Review performance. Take an independent look at how the project is being managed, on your side and your partner's, and what needs to change.
- Report honestly to your board. Give your sponsor, executives or board a clear, independent view of where the project really stands, including the things nobody else wants to say.
Why not just do it for you?
We'd rather leave you with a capability than a dependency. Your CRM will never be truly "done", and your business needs people who can keep managing it long after we've stepped back.
When things are already off track
Sometimes we're called in when a project is already in trouble. An honest, independent review of how it's being managed is often the first step to getting it back on track. You can read some examples on our experience page.
